Serve One Another in Love no. 3

“For God is not so unfair as to forget your work and the love you showed for him in your past service to his people — and in your present service too. However, we want each one of you to keep showing the same diligence right up to the end, when your hope will be realized; so that you will not become sluggish, but will be imitators of those who by their trust and patience are receiving what has been promised” (Messianic Jews (Heb) 6:10-12). Jesus tells us to love our God and our neighbor and here we find that we show the love of God through service to His people. Too often we grow tired and frustrated and exhausted with loving folks because people are not easy to love. The Bible is full of stories where God could also easily have given up on people BUT He does not. He found the way to get us all back to Him through the life of His Son. And through that life we have an example to imitate of selfless love and giving in service to each other. It is never going to be easy BUT it is rather simple, “‘You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.’ This is the greatest and most important mitzvah . And a second is similar to it, ‘You are to love your neighbor as yourself.’ All of the Torah and the Prophets are dependent on these two mitzvot” (Mattityahu (Mat) 22:37-40).

Serve His Kingdom by serving one another in love.

Grace and Shalom to your home. The Kingdom of God is now!

I love you. I forgive you. Have a blessed and abundant day!
