“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”
Embrace the Within.
Just finally sitting down to tap-tap-tap-a-roo after a productive eighteen hours so far this weekend. I woke up and got dirt yesterday and went to work on the regular chores and moving some of my peppers and tomatoes into the greenhouses before going over to finish up the Emergency Preparedness merit badge with some Boy Scouts. Sophia and Logan had a play at CHS and we went to watch the performance in remembrance of the orchestrated tragedy that was perpetrated yesterday. Woke up late this morning to get the regular chores completed and take out some pine trees. Worked on some repotting of tomatoes and peppers. Then I planted two pear trees I started from seed and blueberry vines. Came back inside and worked on the prepping for the week’s meals that is now much more salady than soupy. And a lot of other assorted sundry things that make up the weekend like getting caught up on all the wrasslin I didn’t finish watching this week.
But those are my choices. I am choosing every day to put in the work I’m going to need to accomplish in order to move to where I want to be on the journey of life. I’m not angry that it’s a lot of work. I’m not telling folks to do what I do. I’m just content knowing that I’m preparing myself and getting things together.
Two years into this process right now and I still am in awe of what can be done. Simple steps daily moving toward a goal make a big difference over time. I planted two trees that I grew from seeds today. That’s something.
I guess the next thing on my agenda is mushroom work this week and finishing another rabbit cage. Getting the greenhouses organized for the coming fall and secured is definitely on the list as well. The process never ends but it does become easier when you can see the vision of where you want to be. All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive. It’s all out there for you to have because it is all inside of you to get it.
Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
