Embrace the Within no. 217

“Create in me a clean heart, God;

renew in me a resolute spirit.

Don’t thrust me away from your presence,

don’t take your Ruach Kodesh away from me.

Restore my joy in your salvation,

and let a willing spirit uphold me.

Then I will teach the wicked your ways,

and sinners will return to you.

Rescue me from the guilt of shedding blood,

God, God of my salvation!

Then my tongue will sing

about your righteousness —”

(Tehillim (Psa) 51:12-16).

Life can get exhausting. Maybe it isn’t always just physically exhausting or mentally exhausting or spiritually exhausting. Sometimes it’s one or two or even all three of those things. BUT God is still waiting there to restore joy in His salvation. It is His Spirit that lifts me up and holds me when life is exhausting.

I need Him every day BUT some days I need Him more. When life gets exhausting, I need to remember that He is there to give me the strength I lack. I don’t have to walk this world alone. I don’t have to carry this pain alone. I don’t have to be beaten or broken. I can have His victory.

Rescue me, Father.

Grace and Shalom to your home.

I love you. I forgive you. Have a blessed and abundant day!

I got tired of looking for places to place blame and others to fix my problems. I hope you find some of what you're looking for here as well.
