Personal Meditation No. 76

“It may not be your fault but it is still your problem.”

Embrace the Within.

We’ve been having rough mornings this week since the two youngest are back in school. Inevitably something happens to set the routine into disarray. But I am not getting angry about the problems. I am dealing with the problems.

I am taking a more amor fati view of every morning. What new problem will get invented and dispersed today? How will I handle that problem peacefully?

It does help that I have over two decades of experience at my job and having my morning routine rushed and changed won’t impact the rest of my day. I do understand that most folks would be done for the day with the minor setbacks I have had to face this week.

It is what it is. I am not going to worry or get angry. I am not going to do anything but fix the problem and move on with my day. It may not sound like much, however, it makes all the difference.

So, make the choice to have peace no matter what the day brings?

I hope you find whatever you’re looking for. Have the day you want.

I got tired of looking for places to place blame and others to fix my problems. I hope you find some of what you're looking for here as well.
