Personal Meditation No. 46
“It’s not all in your mind but if you don’t control your mind, then the rest doesn’t matter.”
Embrace the Within.
I really don’t know some times. Today was rough. I really needed the morning to pull myself together and not feel like a complete mess. A morning to hit the reset button and try getting this whole thing fired up again.
Some times you fail, falter, and stumble. But you don’t lose unless you quit. And I’m not about to quit on my change even when I have days where I struggle. If there wasn’t a struggle, then what would be the point of living? Maybe I just like the enjoyment I get from seeing a struggle, confronting that struggle, and coming out the otherside. Do I have to win? Not really. The experience itself will teach you something whether you succeed or you fail. You just need to absorb that lesson and grow from the struggle.
So, the tap-tap-tapparooing comes a bit late today but it does arrive. I’m going to struggle some days but I’m not going to quit on my change. I am all in with the embrace and tomorrow is another day to start winning again.
