Personal Meditation No. 165

“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”

Embrace the Within.

Looking back on these very long fourteen days, I keep seeing that my background in science and research is becoming helpful and mitigating fear and acceptance. I remember when folks were told to wash their hands and not worry about wearing masks and I commented that I found it bizarre that a respiratory virus would be more concerned with surface transmission than aerosol transmission BUT folks stocked up on bleach and washed their hands and fell right in line with the rules until the rules changed. I remember that I found it strange that rather than use the tried and true methods of vaccinations in the past that a new mRNA treatment was speedily greenlighted and sent out to fix the world when companies were still making flu vaccines the same way BUT folks got shot after shot and then still ended up getting the virus.

I am just saying that there seems to be a track record here. And that history is a history of being aligned with what I believe and then enacting that belief. That is why this strain on hospitals is really confusing to me. If you did what you were supposed to do and believed that it was going to work, then where is your faith in your actions? Whether you got a bunch of shots or you didn’t, whether you live a healthy life or you don’t, you really need to start taking ownership of your life. Doctors and nurses are not in charge of your health more than politicians and bureaucrats are. You are in charge of your health.

We all make bad choices in life BUT the wonder and beauty of life is that every day, every hour, every second, we get the chance to start changing those choices and that path. Every morning, every evening, every night, we get the opportunity to decide to make a change in our journey. We get to choose as long as we live.

Not many folks are looking out for you and love you. Most folks are too busy worrying about themselves to even notice you are there. Sometimes we all find ourselves busy with our own lives and that is the place to be busy. That is the place to make change. That is the place to look. When you can’t find internal peace, then you start to look externally for a substitute. BUT there is no true substitute for finding what you are and what you believe. There is no substitute for being aligned. A life of misalignment is a life looking for external solutions where none exist. Find your inner peace? Get aligned?

Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
