Personal Meditation No. 156
“It’s not all in your mind but if you don’t control your mind, then the rest doesn’t matter.”
Embrace the Within
I am looking forward to getting to be a full time gardener and caretaker to animals over the next two weeks. It is so much simpler. I won’t have to squeeze everything in during the few hours of daylight that remain when I return from work. This is going to be a great time.
There will also be more time devoted to decluttering the study and organizing the volumes in piles around the table. File folders a plenty will be employed to get this mess under control and cataloged. Some cleaning and simplifying are definitely on the agenda as well.
I hope you’re making plans as this year comes to a close. Maybe doing some reflection on where you are and where you want to go. Finding your purpose and working on achieving that purpose. The end of the calendar year does bring our minds to this idea of ending one chapter and starting something new. BUT every day can give us that renewal as well.
We can wake up and be grateful for what we have and start visualizing what we want next. We can wake every day to the hope and promise of making better choices and moving toward our goals. I wake up that way every day. I wake up with a routine that allows me to get into the flow of being me.
So, I hope you enjoy the next few weeks as much as I am going to enjoy the next few weeks. I hope you find time for yourself, for reflection, and for renewal.
Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
