Personal Meditation No. 153
“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”
Embrace the Within
It has been a hot minute since I sat down here and tapped out anything. Quite a long weekend of wrasslin and hanging out with the kids. And, let’s face it, this whole Facebook thing is not really for me. Populated with a lot of people with a lot of beliefs I can’t stomach. And that is alright, I am sure most folks are not too keen on my takes on society and the systems they hold near and dear to their hearts.
So, I’m looking at scaling back my exposure on social media and the time I spend on it. I think my directions are better spent typing here on the blog and then turning toward making these typing sessions into videos as well. So, that is what I am looking forward to shaping over the next few weeks as I get time off from going into the work they pay me to do.
So, this blog will continue and video will become expanded as I move forward. I am also really enjoying the poetry and, believe me, there are volumes of files and pages to go through over the next few weeks as I look to declutter the study. Just a lot to look at and process from years of writing and collecting.
That is where I am. I didn’t fall into Facebook jail or into oblivion. I just have some things I need to accept. I need to accept that social media is not the place I should spend my time. I should work more on this and focus solely on this because embracing the within is what has moved me so far along the path to my goal of sustainability. Focusing on putting in the correct work and avoiding the distractions are keys to moving forward. Decluttering my study and my mind are utmost on the list in order to get myself in alignment with that focus. So, I look forward to the process and if you don’t see me around the social media, then know I am devoting my time to expanding the website, gardening the greenhouse, getting all healthy, and moving the journey forward.
Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
