Personal Meditation No. 125

“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”

Embrace the Within

Well, it appears fall has finally taken hold and it only took until November. That means a lot less to do on the plantation in the way of gardening. Nothing is outside right now outside of the trees that I’m working on growing. Everything else has made it into the new greenhouse. And that isn’t too shabby for the end of year number two.

The plan is working and I can barely believe where this all started to where it is now. A few chickens and tiny garden boxes have made way to huge garden boxes, three greenhouses, chickens, and rabbits. I even managed to grow three nice pear trees from seed and plant them in the yard. A bunch of pine trees were removed to expand the yard and create a place for a pumpkin patch for next year and a place for raspberry and blueberry plants.

When you put your mind and body in alignment, there is very little you can’t accomplish. Even if it is something that seems as simple as getting back in control of your life. Once you get free of your old rut and start creating a path to your new routine, all it takes is dedication and determination to having all you want.

Folks struggle a lot because they don’t really want change. Folks like to talk about doing different and being different BUT when it comes to putting in the work of changing, then the plan falls apart. If you really want to change, if you really want more out of life, if you really want abundance, then nothing is going to stop you. If you don’t want it, then you will never run out of excuses.

I was tired of worrying about what was in my food and if I was going to be able to have food. I was tired of hearing about supply problems and the latest narrative. I was tired of someone else playing god with my life. I was tired of the pettiness of humans out for their own power over others. I was tired of being a pawn. So, I took ownership of what I have. I took ownership of my mind, my body, and my life. And I started planting seeds both literally and figuratively.

You can plant your seeds too. You just have to decide that it is what you really want. It is not enough to talk about wanting more out of life. It is the act of going out and getting it. And that isn’t for everyone. There will never be a free man or woman on every corner of this country because freedom is work. Most folks just want to not have to worry about those things. Most folks are too drained from eating garbage and learning garbage to have anything more than a garbage outcome. Most folks only want to work hard enough to get along. Most folks are just looking to be entertained and diverted.

But, you can plant your seeds if you really want to plant them. You can start by getting your life in order. You can start by taking back control of what you put into your body, you can take control by using your brain to solve the problems you encounter, you can start by taking ownership of your day, your week, your month, your year, your life.

The choice is always yours to make. What are you going to choose today?

Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
