Personal Meditation No. 123

“The most rebellious action is taking ownership of your life.”

Embrace the Within.

It doesn’t take much courage to go along with the crowd. To think and act like everyone else is rather simple. There are plenty of influences out there to get you to go along and get along.

Once you start making changes and take ownership of your life, then you start seeing all the hatred. More hatred than you would get from wearing a Trump hat in the city. Folks are looking at you in disdain for daring to think and act unconventionally. Your lack of conformity is going to make them feel uncomfortable. It is going to shine a light on their lack of abundance. And they aren’t going to like it.

Your mind and body aren’t going to like change either. They are going to work against you to bring back the routine and sameness they are accustomed. You won’t find friends within and without when you get started changing. When you start taking ownership of you, things get markedly worse before they get better.

And that’s the struggle we all have to face in the struggle for difference. Wanting something different means you have to start doing things different. You can’t keep the same life and expect change. That is insane.

Taking control of your path is a struggle. There will be tension without and within. BUT the rewards of being who you truly are become immeasurable.

Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.

I got tired of looking for places to place blame and others to fix my problems. I hope you find some of what you're looking for here as well.
