Personal Meditation No. 109
“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”
Embrace the Within.
You can be whatever you choose to be and you get to make that choice over and over every day. So, why would you choose to live a life that is less than what your life can be? Why would you choose to not embrace your potential for greatness and settle for mediocrity? Why would you choose to be like everyone else and have the same goals, the same dreams, the same destinations?
In a world of so many possibilities, being okay or less than okay is just bewildering to me. You can be so much more than what you’re doing right now. You have so much potential for change and growth that you and I have no understanding of just how much and to what extent you could achieve. The only thing getting in your way is you.
You have to take the responsibility and take the action. I know it’s easy to say I’ll start working on that next week, next month, in the new year, after the kids graduate, after I get the house, after I move out, after I get my life together BUT those are just excuses for why you’re not doing things now.
I know you don’t have time or, at least, that’s what you’re telling yourself. There are never going to be a shortage of excuses, a shortage of reasons for not living the life you want. There are people to blame, situations to blame, BUT the only thing standing in your way is you.
I know it isn’t your fault. BUT it is still your problem. There is no better time to change than right now. No better time to claim what you want than right now. No better time to start putting in the work for what you want than right now. No better time to take the first or next steps on your journey than right now. Right now is the only time you have. The present is your present to do with whatever you like. Your present is your life.
So, are you going to embrace your potential? Are you going to embrace everything that your potential has for you? Are you going to live a life of abundance? Are you going to be the boss of you?
Have the day you want. I hope you find whatever you’re looking for.
