Seek First The Kingdom of God no. 28

“May your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven” (Mattityahu (Mat) 6:10). Your Kingdom and Your Will be done. I tend to gloss over the Lord’s Prayer as I say it anymore BUT it holds a lot of important gems. I think if we truly lived like we believed every word of that prayer, we would be living a truly Christian life. Putting His Will and His Kingdom before anything else is what it means to be a Christian.

Too often it’s about what I want and how I want things to be. Too often I forget that His Way is the best, perfect, and only Way. I have plans. And those plans are not always His plans. And too often when my plans don’t work out or something throws my plans into disarray, I blame God for that or I question God for that. Dude, I should be lucky that He lets me have plans that get messed up. I should be lucky that He corrects my course and sets His better plan into motion.

BUT that isn’t the way I choose to see things. And I need to pray for His Will to supersede mine. I need to pray for only what I need. I need to pray for His forgiveness and the ability to forgive like Him. And I need to pray for His protection from the trials, snares, and temptations of the Adversary. I need to thank Him for being in charge and enthroned. It’s His Kingdom. He is the King. And I need to pledge allegiance to Him and His Will daily.

Seek first His Kingdom which rests on the foundation of love.

Grace and Shalom to your home. The Kingdom of God is now!

I love you. I forgive you. Have a blessed and abundant day!
