God loves me even when I don’t love myself. That is kind of a difficult thing for folks outside of God’s grace to understand. Once we get back under YHWH’s wraparound presence, we tend to understand that reality a lot better. I like to think back and always wonder at how much worse things could have been. How many bullets have I dodged due to the grace of God?

I was having this conversation this weekend that things could always have been worse. No matter what troubles and trials and obstacles came around the possibility for even worse was there. I could have never found my way back to the Christ movement. I could still be out wandering believing that my thoughts, my actions, my truth, my way were going to be enough to save me. BUT there is nothing I can do. No path of philosophy can I learn. No number of books I can read. No amount of noble and virtuous deeds I can perform. There is nothing I can do, no power I have, that can make things right. God provided the path to draw near. And I have to walk that Path if I am going to repair the relationship.

We support what we love. And we can see many folks celebrating diversion. It’s football season. It’s easy to tell. Folks getting excited about the activity of others and celebrating that activity as accomplishment. True accomplishment is setting your mind, your heart, and your soul on its one true intention. The one thing that will make you happy. The one thing that supplies true happiness.

Your team will let you down. Your friends will let you down. Your relatives will let you down. Even you will let yourself down. I do that all the time. BUT God never lets me down. God never changes. His presence and his Truth are immutable. His Grace never fails. His plan is perfect. And even when I get mad at myself for failing, He is still there to offer grace.

Are you happy? The wraparound presence of YHWH can bring you happiness. What are you supporting? Spending time with God daily brings peace and love to every part of our life .What do you love? God loves you even when you don’t love yourself.

Peace to your home. Bless your being. The reign of YHWH is now. Be a blessing to YHWH and others.

Heavenly Father, redeeming Christ, and comforting Spirit,

I thank you for all the obstacles and challenges I faced this past week. Your Grace and Truth have helped me hurdle those obstacles and face those challenges. I may be unsuccessful at first. I may fail at first. BUT I have the assurance that You will provide the Way through and over in triumph. Whatever I face in the world today and tomorrow, I no longer face alone because I have the assurance of Your wraparound presence to protect and guide me through all that life has to offer. There is nothing You have not foreseen. There is nothing You cannot lead me through.

I ask this week for guidance and wisdom along the path for not only myself BUT more importantly for others. Father, I have seen some really wrong ideas this week. I have seen a large number of folks buying into ideas that are not rooted in Your vision of humans as image bearers of Your plan. I pray that we all spend more time in Your Word and in prayer with You in finding the path you want us to walk. I pray that we all work on building a better relationship with You through love and fear of Your power and glory and grace and truth. I pray that we all truly put our way behind us and walk in Your way of loving You and others.

I pray this week that those that are suffering from physical, mental, and spiritual weakness will find Your strength. There are so many folks out there hurting, Lord. There are so many folks out there that are looking to the world and inside them for the strength to survive this broken world. Help them come to abandon that selfish idea and turn towards Your great strength to lead them into true power. Help those that suffer to find the rest and peace we enjoy in Your Spirit and Truth.

As I move forward with the ending of this week and the promise of a new week ahead, I ask that You look over all that is around in my life and help my words and actions be a blessing to Your glory. Help me and those I meet along the way to see Your vision of the world to come, Your Truth in all those interactions. In all this I ask that it is Your way and not my way. Amen.

Peace to your home. Bless your being. The reign of YHWH is now. Be a blessing to YHWH and others.
