“Only you can bring yourself peace.”

Be the Change.

What works for you may not always work for me and what works for me will not always work for you. What is it going to take to make you feel complete?

That is a question you might struggle answering. BUT once you find your answer do not accept any substitute except that goal. You deserve to feel complete.

There are a lot of miserable folks out there that just want to destroy things. They just cannot have joy because they will not allow themselves to be happy. They want to spread their misery and pain throughout the world. Those of us that are living abundantly need to spread that now more than ever.

There will never be a shortage of reasons to quit, reasons to be miserable, reasons to remain mediocre, and reasons to destroy BUT we need to show that there are equally as many reasons to be successful, to be healthy, to be invigorated, and to build. So, you get to choose whether you want to be an agent for positive change or you want to be that miserable person that people avoid.

“Your beliefs are your actions. What you say is just what you think.”

Be the Change.

I work on change and still have changes to make. That is the basis of my life outlook right now. I am getting healthy BUT I could be healthier. I am learning and implementing new ideas and methods BUT I could be learning and doing more. I am shortening my supply chain BUT I could be doing more about the ecosystem. There is always more change on the horizon. This is not a take a pill and take a nap lifestyle. It is a dedication to change every day. No days off.

A lot of folks put in the work when others are watching. I make everyone witness to hold myself accountable. If I slip, I want to know and work on the change. That is why I commit to putting up my numbers every day this month. That is why I commit to writing something every day. That is why I commit to working out every morning. That is why I commit to showing the progress of the plantation. I want accountability.

And change doesn’t mean I get it right every day BUT the days I do get it right outnumber the days I mess things up. The days I start out right and end right are totally destroying the days I start out wrong and end right or start out right and end wrong. Change is a process and not a destination. The process is the means and the means are important, much more important than the end. The end will come regardless of the means. That is why the change must focus on the daily steps to change the end.

Most folks just want the end result. So they seek the next way to change their fortune, their health, their position without changing the way their lives work. And those miracle fixes that they advertise on television more and more these days, those MLM schemes that will get you change in six easy steps, those quick fixes never really get at the heart of the issue. You have to change how you approach life in order to change you.

And that means doing the work. There is no substitute for the work of change.
